Job Summary

In cooperation with the management, the factory and the Product Marketing team, the Product and Technical coordinator will intervene at various stages throughout the product's life cycle. Including the quality check, coordination with the factory, contact the suppliers and monitor the stock. The role includes also an after-sales role with contact with client on technical aspects.

Transec Electric Ltd, a leading company in Power transformer online moisture monitoring and drying solution, is looking for a

Product and Technical coordinator.

This position will be based in United Kingdom, in Haverhill. The successful candidate will be in touch with the management of Transec Electric Ltd, the sales team and the factory in the UK and the marketing management in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Quality control at factory

Product approval before shipment

Stock organization

Supplier coordination

Order management (software upload, tests, small issues/adaptations)

Review/improve all supplier parts (filters, accessories, pump)

Be involved in the development of new features

Participate and support the Service Team

Support to Technical sales UK. Promotion of monitoring.

New product opportunity UK

Promotion of other Streamer products (LLPD, FIPRES, SM)

Take part of trainings of new employees, sales teams and distributors on the product range

Improves the supply chain and manufacturing of the product range.

Provides information for management by preparing short and long-term product sales forecasts, special reports and analyses.

Launches new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing

Determines product pricing in cooperation with sales team by utilizing market data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree as minimum requirement Degree in Engineering (mechanical) is a plus Experience in medium and/or high voltage industry. Experience with power transformers is a plus. Independent mind-set Capacity to self-motivate and organize yourself Interest for sales and commercial topics Fluent in English

Location/Duration

Location is in UK. Office/factory is based in Haverhill. 75% of time should be spend at the factory/office. Up to 30% of travels within UK and internationally Permanent position
