Job Description

The Product Technologist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that womenswear and girlswear jersey products meet quality, compliance, and performance standards for this highly successful growing supplier.
This position requires a detail-oriented professional to oversee product specifications and liaise with internal buying teams and Bangladeshi factories.

• Develop and maintain product specifications to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate product samples and address manufacturing issues.
• Alongside the design team, create blocks, and have a in depth understanding of fit and pattern.
• Conduct product assessments and implement improvements based on performance standards.
• Ensure all products align with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.
• Work closely with the design and buying teams to bring new products to market successfully.
• Manage quality control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare documentation for product testing and certification purposes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding product-related queries.

A successful Product Technologist should have:

• A background in a technical, scientific, or engineering-related discipline.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in managing and interpreting technical data and reports.
