The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of admin experience; with exposure to FMCG environments.
  • Experience of working in food manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent administration skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Word / Power Point / Office
  • Efficient in delivering objectives and workload.
  • Ability to work with peers in a matrix structure to draw in external skills to achieve local goals.
  • Track record of delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations and Shift Leaders, including scanning, typing, filing, and processing paperwork.
  • Complete wage corrections, exceptions and clocking error updates for Sofina colleagues and temporary workers.
  • Process Right to Work documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate and distribute paperwork to relevant departments, including updates to procedures.
  • Maintain registers, shift rotas, line maps, centre lines, KPI trackers and other operational tools.
  • Input and update data in site systems such as MIMO, SAP, SOPES and INNOVA.
  • Complete Change of Particulars forms for permanent and temporary staff.
  • Attend meetings as a scribe, recording and publishing actions for H&S, projects, DDS and factory discussions.
  • Collate and record NMR and safety observations, as well as labour and yield meeting actions.
  • Safety & Hygiene
  • Act as a role model for safe working practices and report any safety, health or environmental issues promptly.
  • Liaise with management on reasonable safety requests and ensure WTD risk assessments are completed and distributed.
  • Promote clean-as-you-go and good manufacturing practices within your area.
  • Quality, Cost & Accreditation
  • Support a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.
  • Drive cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives within your department.
  • Contribute to maintaining high audit standards and supporting excellent performance in production and packing.
