Purpose of the Role:
Lead and optimise Dymatec's UK production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of diamond blades and core drills. Drive continuous improvement through LEAN principles, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and foster a positive, high-performance team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Leadership: Manage day-to-day production activities, optimising output and ensuring this meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Implement and sustain LEAN manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve workflow. Set and analyse KPIs and drive initiatives for productivity and cost optimisation.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UK health and safety regulations. Maintain and improve safety culture across the production team.
Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop production staff, promoting accountability and engagement. Manage shift planning and job allocation, training, and performance reviews. Promote and reinforce company values in daily interactions and team leadership. Actively contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-performance workplace culture.
Operations: Ensure accurate stock levels for raw materials and finished goods. Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of consumables and raw materials. Manage and oversee goods in/out to ensure completion in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams to align production with business goals and customer needs. Support new product introduction and technical problem-solving.
Reporting: Produce daily/weekly reports on production output, stock status, and operational KPIs.
Maintenance: Maintain production equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of successful team leadership and KPI delivery.
- Demonstrated success in CNC setting and machining within a manufacturing environment (Desirable).
- Strong background in LEAN manufacturing principles and implementation.
- Health & Safety qualification: NEBOSH or IOSH (Desirable).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools (Desirable).

Job Specifics:
- Working hours are 7am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch.
