As a Production Joinery Assembler at Decrobond, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate assembly of joinery components to create finished products of exceptional quality. Working within our dynamic production team, you will contribute to the fabrication of bespoke joinery items while adhering to strict quality control measures and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:



Assembly of Joinery Components:

Utilize your expertise to assemble various joinery components, including timber fire doors, doorsets, glazed screens, and washroom systems, according to precise specifications and design requirements.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct meticulous inspections of assembled joinery items to ensure they adhere to our rigorous quality standards. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in the assembly process to uphold product excellence.

Precision and Accuracy:

Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in assembling joinery components, maintaining consistency and precision throughout the production process.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with colleagues in the production team to coordinate assembly tasks efficiently and foster a collaborative working environment. Communicate effectively to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.

Adherence to Safety Guidelines:

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Follow health and safety regulations meticulously while operating machinery and handling joinery materials to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.

Equipment Maintenance:

Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of assembly tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Report any equipment issues or malfunctions promptly to facilitate timely resolution.

Continuous Improvement:

Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in joinery assembly techniques, materials, and processes. Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:



Previous experience in joinery assembly or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or woodworking environment. Proficient understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules. While not essential, an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery would be advantageous.
