The Role

We're looking for a

Production Operative

to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on the assembly, crimping, and soldering of custom cable products. You'll play an important part in delivering high-quality assemblies to our customers while working in a clean, safe, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble cables and wiring harnesses according to technical drawings and specifications Perform soldering and crimping to a high standard (using both hand tools and machines) Conduct visual inspections and basic testing to ensure quality compliance Follow work instructions accurately and meet daily production targets Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following all health and safety protocols Report any production issues or defects to the supervisor promptly Complete relevant production documentation as required

Requirements

Previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role is a MUST. Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions (training provided) Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Reliable timekeeping and a positive attitude Comfortable working seated or standing Experience using hand tools such as pliers, cutters, and screwdrivers Good eyesight and ability to perform fine, detailed work Willingness to learn and develop new skills
