The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves precision work, including crimping, soldering, and assembling a wide array of cable products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in all production outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Soldering and assembling electronic components to a high standard
Following technical drawings and work instructions
Conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
Working efficiently to meet production targets
Assemble cables and wire harnesses according to specific drawings and specifications.
Perform crimping and soldering tasks to secure connections and ensure functionality.
Inspect and test cables and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols.
Document production details and report any issues to the production supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous experience in cable assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Good Time keeping
Able read and understand Work Instructions (with training)
Able to use a measuring device (ruler)
Soldering experience
Crimping experience (hand tools and machine)
Willing to learn!!
Can work sitting or standing
Good eyesight
Can use general hand tools - cable cutters, pliers, screwdrivers etc....
