36,450 rising to 40,400 when role requirements are met + 20% shift premium

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated
Maintenance Technician
to maintain and repair digitally controlled torque tooling and manual click wrenches used in the construction equipment industry. This role requires a fast response to production breakdowns, collaboration with maintenance colleagues, and a proactive approach to skill development.
What you will do
As a
Maintenance Technician,
you are accountable for, but not limited to:
Support production operations by troubleshooting and repairing assembly equipment during all production periods.
Perform reactive maintenance tasks and assist with general maintenance activities as required.
Interpret engineering drawings to carry out tooling repairs, including disassembly and reassembly.
Maintain accurate service records and monitor spare parts inventory, including ordering when necessary.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and always promote safe working practices.
Participate in training and development, including initial training on day shifts before transitioning to afternoon shifts.
Must be willing to work a multi-shift pattern.

What You Can Demonstrate:
Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Can diagnose and repair production equipment, including torque tools (air, battery, and DC).
Technical Problem-Solving: Identify faults, troubleshoot effectively, and implement practical solutions in manufacturing settings.
Communication: Communicates clearly and works well with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to support smooth operations.
Organisation & IT: Effectively manages tasks, adapts to changing priorities, and uses standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) confidently.
Must be willing to work a multi-shift pattern.
Top Candidates will have:
Familiarity with calibration systems, including procedures for maintaining accuracy and compliance in measurement tools.
Understanding of smart tooling technologies, such as digitally connected or programmable tools used in advanced manufacturing.
