Job Description

Sensing Precision are looking for a Production Assembly Operative to assist with the mechanical assembly of our products on the shop floor.

Reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the production team to ensure our high-quality finished products and are completed in a timely fashion for customer delivery.

We are offering the role as Full Time or Part Time position.

Key requirements:

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Confident using hand tools.

Using pillar drill and working with small components.

Previous experience of working in mechanical/electromechanical environment.

Flexible and proactive approach in the work environment.

Fit and ideally able to lift to 25kg alone unaided.

Enjoys working in a team.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience of working in mechanical environment.

Ability to multitask and keen eye for detail.

Duties will also include:

Basic wiring and testing of components.

Checking and quality inspection of own work.

Packing of goods and building custom sized boxes as required.

Ensuring stock levels are up to date.

Ensuring your workspace is tidy and safe. Maintain good housekeeping.

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve current processes.

Other Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:

Previous Electromechanical experience.

Dexterous approach and problem solving.

Knowledge and experience of machining, turning of components for fabrication.

IT Skills - Familiarity with working MRP systems for booking in/out of goods.

Clean Driving Licence.

Due to the location, you must drive or live near Stokenchurch.
