Production Associate



We are seeking a skilled and quality-oriented Production Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring the seamless production of finished goods to the correct specification and to a high-quality standard. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision, an eye for detail, and the ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties



Preparing, sanding down & polishing to a high-quality standard. Spray to the require specification. Good knowledge and hand finishing skills Willing to adopt a flexible positive approach to working Work closely with the assembly department Able to work to a high-quality consistent standard. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet stringent standards. Follow Health & Safety guidelines and quality procedures. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. Proactively work as a team to continuously improve the production process and production area. Undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the Business.

Key Performance Indicators



Ability to produce finished good using a variety of preparation methods and a variety of finishing products Ability to mix and apply colour / stain to wood veneers Ability to Stain and colour match. Prepare items for polishing, painting and staining Ensure all work is finished to the requirement specified Pursue self-development Adhere to all Health & Safety rules

Required Experience



Previous experience in a spray shop, finishing, or related manufacturing/production environment preferred. Knowledge of sanding, polishing, and burnishing techniques for various materials (wood, metal, or composites). Ability to use hand tools, power sanders, and polishing/burnishing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes. Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a workshop/spray shop environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
