: To work within our busy flagship bakery producing crumble topping to support Humble Crumble's growth across bakeries, e-commerce and retail. You'll be responsible for preparing, baking, and packaging products to the highest quality and hygiene standards, ensuring smooth and efficient daily production. Your day will be split between baking crumble and preparing, packing, and dispatching crumble to our bakeries and online customers.

Essential Skills:
Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive mindset and a passion for food and exceptional customer experience
Desirable skills:
Experience working to targets / KPIs
Experience with order fulfillment / e-commerce
Experience in a bakery or production environment
Key Responsibilities
Daily Production & Baking
Prepare, bake, and pack multiple batches of crumble and toppings following Humble Crumble's recipes and production standards.
Maintain consistent product quality, texture, and flavour through careful ingredient measurement and attention to detail.
Monitor bake times, temperatures, and batch consistency to ensure all products meet quality control standards.
Label and store finished products correctly, maintaining full traceability.
Support the Bakery Manager in achieving daily production targets and timelines.
Order Fulfilment & Dispatch
Organise, pack, and prepare crumble orders for delivery to other bakery sites, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Fulfil e-commerce orders efficiently, ensuring all items are packaged securely and dispatched via Royal Mail or courier services within set timeframes.
Communicate with the bakery managers to ensure correct delivery are ready and that equipment is being returned from bakeries.
Keep accurate records of outgoing deliveries and postal orders.
Hygiene & Food Safety
Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all food hygiene and safety regulations.
Conduct daily cleaning routines of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Support with due diligence records, including traceability records and batch tracking.
Follow allergen, storage, and labelling procedures at all times.
Teamwork & Efficiency
Collaborate closely with other bakers and the management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Communicate clearly about stock levels, ingredient shortages, or equipment issues.
Support training of new team members when needed.
Actively contribute to improving production processes and efficiencies.
Weekly Work Schedule
5 working days per week: Monday - Friday Saturday, with occasional weekends required.
6am-2pm 8 hour shifts
