About the Role



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Bakery Supervisor to join our team in West London. As a pivotal leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our high-volume bakery, ensuring the efficient, consistent, and high-quality production of all baked goods.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is proficient with leading a team of bakers in a fast-paced production bakery.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee and execute all baking tasks, ensuring consistency and quality for high-volume production runs. Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production bakers to foster high performance and skill development. Conduct rigorous quality checks, troubleshooting issues to ensure our precise standards are met. Drive efficiency and minimise waste through process improvement and maintaining an organised workspace. Manage bulk ingredient inventory using FIFO principles. Safely operate and maintain industrial baking equipment. Enforce strict adherence to UK Food Safety (e.g., HACCP) and Health & Safety guidelines. Work with the NPD team to seamlessly integrate new products into large-scale production. Contribute proactively to improving overall bakery operations and team performance.

About You



Minimum 3 years of professional baking experience, ideally in a production or artisan bakery. Previous supervisory experience or experience leading a team. Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting industrial baking equipment. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team in a demanding production setting. Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to product quality. Proactive and decisive approach to operational challenges. Comfortable with varying working hours (early mornings, late nights, weekends as needed) and high production demands. In-depth understanding of UK Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations. Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25kg, and work in a warm, fast-paced environment. A positive, collaborative attitude and a desire to contribute to a productive team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
