Production Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment by following set cleaning schedules and procedures. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure hygiene standards are met, PPE stations are well-stocked, and production areas remain clear of rubbish. Key Responsibilities

Keeping the site free of rubbish Keeping the production areas clean to the standards required Keeping the PPE stations fully-stocked and ensuring sufficient stocks of cleaning materials and PPE are available Using the cleaning machines and PPT equipment where required Following the cleaning schedule and reporting any issues to the Team Leader Responsible for all necessary cleaning in and around the Production area Cleaning floors and rooms including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor and spot cleaning glass and windows Restocking dispensers, emptying rubbish bins, cleaning and sanitising fixtures, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping floors and other areas as required Vacuuming, emptying bins, and replacing liners Setting up, stocking and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies Monitoring and maintaining sanitation and organisation of assigned areas Assisting other departments, when needed, to ensure optimum service Performing additional duties as needed
The working hours for this role are 6am - 2pm, Monday - Thursday and 6am - 12.30pm on Fridays. The starting salary is 12.25 per hour, a total of 36.5 hours a week.

The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience in a production or factory setting, be confident using cleaning equipment and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

This role is suited to someone who is tidy, well-organised, and takes pride in their work. You should be able to follow verbal and written instructions, have a strong awareness of health and safety practices, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
