Job Brief

We are a leading manufacturer of Quarry & Material Handling equipment seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Controller to oversee our production operations in our manufacturing facilities and also from our subcontractor supply base.

The Production Controller's responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the production process to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with company objectives.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

Coordinate and direct production teams to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Negotiating terms and prices with subcontractors, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices

Organise the procurement of raw materials and fabrications.

Coordinate and manage production staff schedules and resources.

Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.

Analyse production data and recommend improvements.

Ensure production is cost-effective and within budget.

Provide reports on production operations and status to senior management.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Production Controller, Production Planner, or similar role.

Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.

Understand the principles of Job Costing

Excellent knowledge of production software.

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and report writing skills.

BSc degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
