Overview:



We are currently seeking a Production Co-Ordinator to join our team at Roof Tile Factory, Lisburn.

As our Production Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timeliness. Key responsibilities include creating production schedules, managing costs and resources, supervising staff, ensuring continuity across shifts and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. You will also collaborate with other departments to solve problems and implement improvements.

Adhere to Company Health & Safety working practices and legislative regulations Planning and scheduling: Create and manage production schedules to meet deadlines. Staff and resource management: Supervise production staff, assign tasks, and manage resources and costs. Quality assurance: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications. Cost control: Monitor production costs, analyse budgets, and identify areas for cost savings. Process optimisation: Oversee the entire production process, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Health and safety: Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment. Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics. Equipment maintenance: Ensure equipment is maintained and operational. Perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, especially the Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.


What we need from you...





Ideally 3 years' experience in a similar role Capacity to assist change management - identify problems, their causes and practical solutions. Ability to effectively support the Plant Manager to manage production deadlines, shipping dates and more and must manage their time accordingly Support the Plant Manager to ensure that manufacturing equipment is maintained, supported and available (as measured by OEE%). Strong interpersonal skills, you must be able to speak with employees, other department managers and senior management. Team Player with ability to maintain effective working relationships across all levels Ability to work on own initiative
