Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production to lead the operations of our print-on-demand manufacturing facility. This individual will oversee all aspects of production and distribution, ensuring efficiency, quality, and delivery excellence across multiple disciplines. With two production managers reporting directly, the Head of Production will be accountable for operational leadership, warehouse performance, and strategic reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

Oversee all aspects of production across DTG (Kornit Atlas Max), DTF, Embroidery (Happy Japan), Cut & Sew, Sublimation, and Digital Print (cut sheet, latex, UV, giclee). Provide regular high-level oversights of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth execution of daily activities including picking, packing, printing and stock replenishment. Ensure resources and tasks are allocated effectively to meet demand and maintain workflow efficiency. Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Performance & Reporting

Ensure all products are manufactured and dispatched in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) relating to quality, speed, and cost. Deliver high-level reporting on production and warehouse performance to senior stakeholders. Monitor KPIs across productivity, throughput, waste, quality, and warehouse accuracy, introducing corrective action where necessary.

People & Culture

Lead and develop production managers and their teams, setting clear expectations for performance and accountability. Oversee attendance, punctuality, and overall workforce effectiveness, ensuring adequate cover for shifts. Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to build capability across production and warehouse teams. Champion a positive working culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce health & safety standards across production and warehouse environments, including PPE usage, manual handling, and equipment checks. Oversee safety audits, hazard reporting, and incident management. Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse standards, and all relevant legal regulations.

Strategy & Improvement

Identify and implement improvements in production and warehouse processes, technology, and workflow. Lead change initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and sustainability in line with company goals. Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize stock management, material usage, and product turnaround.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment. Strong knowledge of print-on-demand production methods and machinery. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously. Experience in delivering reports and insights to senior business stakeholders. Track record of implementing operational improvements and driving positive change.
Desirable:

Experience with Kornit, Happy Japan, or equivalent print/embroidery machinery. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and best practices. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay: 50,000.00-70,000.00 per year
