We are looking for a reliable and highly organised Production Dispatch operative to join our production team at M3 Group. This role plays a vital part in ensuring goods are received, checked, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time to support smooth production operations and customer delivery schedules.
Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor, you will work closely with production and administrative teams to manage goods in, quality checks, and outbound deliveries, helping ensure products reach customers right first time.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Deliveries
Plan and carry out all dispatches in line with operational schedules.
Ensure all deliveries are prepared accurately and available for dispatch as required.
Receive and receipt all incoming goods into stores, checking quantities and condition.
Verify items shipped by matching delivery notes and identifying any discrepancies.
Safely unload incoming deliveries and prepare completed orders for dispatch.
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient dispatch and storage area, including containers and unit space.
Production Support
Support production activities to ensure orders are completed safely and on time.
Identify and report any shortfalls in programme, stock, equipment, tools, or deliveries to the Production Administrator.
Immediately escalate any unsafe acts or practices.
Complete all paperwork accurately and in line with M3 Group's quality and QMS requirements.
Teamwork & Compliance
Contribute to the overall aims and values of M3 Group.
Attend and participate in meetings, training, and performance development activities.
Comply with company policies relating to health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality, security, and data protection.
Adhere to all internal and external HSE rules and proactively report incidents through M3 QMS systems.
About You
You are organised, calm under pressure, and take pride in accuracy and efficiency. You work well as part of a team, can manage multiple priorities, and understand the importance of getting deliveries right first time in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year's experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of construction principles
Strong organisational and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to review and manage programmes and schedules
Sound knowledge of basic hand tools
Ability to read schematic drawings and follow programme schedules
Excellent attention to detail
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
Desirable
Understanding of flood doors and barriers
