The role:
You will be part of a small team of Production Engineers reporting to the Production Manager. Our Production Engineers play a vital role in the new product development process from a design and manufacturing perspective.
You will continuously review and support our production processes to improve product quality, streamline processes and increase manufacturing efficiency. You must possess expertise and engineering skills in electronics, software and moulding of sub-assemblies. Experience in the production of imaging and navigation sensor products is highly desirable.

Job responsibilities:
Feedback to design engineers regarding design for manufacture and practicality of build/test procedures.
Hand-over activities for new products including:
Prototype build to establish build procedure.
Optimising and documenting new build and test procedures.
Assisting with new product design and qualification (ad-hoc).
Root cause analysis of faults arising from customer returns relating to issues in production.
Assisting in qualification and testing new or alternative materials for production.
Assisting in the design and improvement of test facilities, jigs and procedures within production.
Improvement of procedures and documentation for existing products including training operators where appropriate.
Liaising with suppliers where required regarding issues affecting Tritech quality or production and training out test procedures.
Diagnosis and repair of defective or quarantined components/products from production.
Assistance with refining and updating technical purchasing specifications to ensure suppliers meet Tritech requirements.
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum HNC or equivalent professional experience in Electrical engineering or Production engineering
At least 3 years' experience in electronic product manufacturing with an in-house moulding capability
Must be competent at diagnosing faults at component level
Ability to organise your own time and work both autonomously and as part of a team in an environment that requires the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a calm, controlled manner
The drive and desire to continuously improve processes and products
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
