About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Production Fabricator to join our growing team at M3 Floodtec. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of flood defence doors, barriers, and associated products in line with our established quality standards and procedures.

Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you'll ensure all products are built accurately, efficiently, and to the highest specification, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable flood protection solutions to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

Build and assemble products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production schedules. Identify and report any shortfalls in programme, delivery, stock, equipment, or tooling required to complete tasks. Immediately escalate any unsafe acts or practices to the Production Supervisor. Complete all company documentation in line with M3 Floodtec's quality processes.

Fabrication & Quality Control

Fabricate flood defence doors, barriers, and other bespoke products following the correct SOPs and quality policies. Carry out thorough quality checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet survey sheet specifications and M3 standards. Maintain high levels of precision, accuracy, and workmanship throughout all fabrication tasks.

Teamwork & Compliance

Contribute positively to the wider aims and objectives of M3 Floodtec. Participate in training, skills development, and performance reviews as needed. Attend relevant meetings and collaborate with colleagues across production and engineering teams. Adhere to policies relating to equal opportunities, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection. Comply with internal and external HSE standards and proactively report any incidents or non-conformances in line with M3 QMS procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year's experience in a manufacturing environment Basic understanding of construction principles Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools Ability to read schematic drawings and follow programme schedules Excellent attention to detail GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Desirable

Knowledge of flood doors and barriers FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
