Job Description

Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Production Hygiene Operative based at our butchery, Celtica Foods in Cross Hands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of the Hygiene team, you will be responsible for the cleaning of production, storage and changing areas of the building. This will include:

Complete deep cleaning as directed by the Production Managers to include floors, walls, drains, ceilings, sinks, production equipment, production furniture, processing machinery and cleaning equipment Complete all cleaning to the acceptable standard of 'Visually clean and free from all product debris and/or residue' Follow the cleaning methods specified by the Technical Manager to ensure cleaning is effective and to an acceptable standard Use of cleaning chemicals as specified but the Technical Manager Correctly use colour coded cleaning equipment Correctly use PPE as instructed at all times To work in a manner that supports food safety and Health and Safety Ensure that all cleaning records and documentation are completed accurately and signed

Additional Information:
