Feedmark are looking for Production Lead to join our dedicated and hard-working team based near Harleston to oversee the daily operation within our well-established manufacturing facility. In this role you will lead a team of production operatives, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained and that production runs smoothly. This role is crucial in maintaining quality standards while leading a team of production workers.

This is a hands-on role working in a busy production department manufacturing equine supplements, for delivery to our customers the next day. This role would suit someone with proven leadership experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, support and motivate a team of production operatives Ensure daily production targets are met safely and efficiently Carry out quality control checks and maintain high product standards Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures Identify and resolve any issues that may impact production Assist in training and onboarding new team members Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain smooth operations Efficient stock management
A valid driving licence is a must as Feedmark is based in a rural area so the ideal candidate will need to be able to get to and from work without relying on public transport. Full training will be given.

The ideal candidate

Experience as a team leader or senior production operative in a manufacturing or warehouse setting Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Effective communication and team management skills Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive approach Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Hours of work

Monday - Sunday

40 hours per week over 5 shifts

Usual start and end times (Mon- Fri) 07:00 - 16:30 (Sat & Sun) 06:00 - 12:00, however overtime working is expected when required.
