ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market .

We are looking for a Line Leader at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.

Shifts

are 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off pattern

06:00-18:00

working the following shift pattern's;

Days 1: Working every Thursday to Saturday and alternate Wednesday's

Days 2: Working every Sunday to Tuesday and alternate Wednesday's

These roles also attract premium payments for weekend working and are guaranteed hours contracts.

This role will be responsible for;

Management of workers within the area in line with Company Policies and Procedures (in a professional manner). Follow the production planning schedules to achieve plan attainment within all KPI specifications and quality standards. Ensure all staff in areas are trained and competent; liaising with the Training Department. Ensure all protocols and practices are followed in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for problem solving and process improvement, including NCR resolution and other projects. Ability to deputise for Area Leader.
The applicant will need a good level of English and Numeracy.

We offer great prospects if you wish to develop your career in the food industry. Full training will be given so although previous experience in food manufacturing would be nice, it's not vital.

Pay Rates

Days shift rate: 13.55 per hour

Additionally a 10 bonus per weekend day shift worked.

Please note, this role also attracts a bonus scheme, so will entitle you to an additional bonus rate. This will be subject to meeting the appropriate Qualifying Criteria for a particular Qualifying Period.
