Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both power and hand tools. As a Production Line Welder, you will be responsible for welding components and ensuring high-quality welds in a fast-paced factory environment. You will need to be physically fit as this role is very physically demanding and requires a lot of lifting. This role is essential to maintaining our production standards and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using various techniques, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete welding and assembly tasks. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure they meet quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production processes.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, preferably in a production or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with workshop operations and the use of various tools related to welding and assembly tasks. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of work.
We are an engineering company that designs, develops, manufactures materials handling products along with gates, railings and other various items.

38 hours per week.

6am - 4pm Monday to Thursdays.

Applicant must be able to work Fridays as the business requires.

A weld test will be required at interview.

14.50ph.
