Main Purpose of Job:
We are seeking a Production Maintenance Technician responsible for executing the planned preventative maintenance schedules of production equipment and facilitating the optimization of our manufacturing processes.
Key tasks include:
Equipment Maintenance
Carryout planned preventative maintenance on all production machines in line with the approved maintenance schedule.
Liaise with production engineers to order and maintain the correct level of spare parts and serviceability kits.
React to breakdowns in a timely manner and assist with all machine disruptions.
Run and maintain an array of 3D printers in the support of low volume production parts and production jigs with assistance .
Fault find and carry out repairs to production machines, including pneumatic two-part potting machines, two-part gluing machines, CNC router, 3D printers and drilling machines.
Assist with the movement of production cells and test equipment and provide and connect electrical and pneumatic services to the new area.
Carry out general maintenance and repairs to the factory compressed air system.
Safely use power and hand tools when carrying out repair work.
When necessary and advised by your supervisor / manager operate a range of production equipment in the manufacture and assembly of HWM products
Work under your supervisor's guidance to perform and complete your duties promptly.
Recommend process improvements to enhance process efficiency and safety
Accountabilities:
Report any abnormalities in the process to your supervisor, manager, or the shop floor supervisor.
Support Manufacturing Engineering on continuous improvement activities.
Ensure the work area is clean and tidy following all activities.
Observe anti-static requirements stated in Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain machines and process equipment to achieve production demands and company set KPI's.
Maintain output to meet company targets.
Assist in lean activities.
Complete all company documentation e.g., SPC Charts, torque test, and anti-static test to the required frequency.
To ensure the Health Safety and Welfare of yourself, employees working in, and visitors to the factory.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Higher Education or 2 years field experience in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
