Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee our fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fabrication team, ensuring high-quality production standards, and optimising workflow efficiency.

This role requires strong Fabrication Knowledge, along with related machinery such as Press, Hydraulic Punch, Guillotine etc.

Duties

Manage and supervise the fabrication team to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Oversee the assembly of bespoke components, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work processes to maintain operational efficiency and safety. Provide training and support to team members on fabrication techniques and equipment usage. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production efforts and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels and equipment maintenance logs. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste within the fabrication area.

Experience

Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is essential, with a strong understanding of mechanical processes. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is essential. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.

Pay: 40,000.00-47,000.00 per year
