We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our factory operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of modular loft units.

Role Overview

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, from material flow and production scheduling to quality control and workforce management. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent people skills, and a passion for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day factory operations to meet production targets, timelines, and quality standards.

Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation, and process improvements.

Manage and motivate a multidisciplinary production team, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

Work closely with design, procurement, logistics, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow from factory to site.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.

Monitor and report key production metrics (KPIs), analysing performance and implementing corrective actions when required.

Manage maintenance schedules for machinery, tools, and equipment.

Support the onboarding and training of production staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Production Manager or Factory Manager, ideally within modular housing, offsite construction, or prefabrication.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance systems.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with manufacturing software preferred.
