We are currently seeking a Ready Mix Production Manager based in the East Anglia area. You will oversee the management of a number of concrete plants within this area.
In the role, you will be responsible for all aspects of production and maintenance within the area encompassing; haulage, aggregate, profit & loss accounts, monthly reporting and human resource management along with other duties as required.
You will be expected to directly manage and coach the team to ensure that operational sites are run safely, efficiently and that the concrete supplied is to the customer's specification.
The Production Manager will also need to ensure that all operational sites comply with all internal company procedures and policies that have been set out as well as legislative compliance.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, forward thinking and ideally with relevant industry experience and a working knowledge of production, operational, and distribution processes. It would be advantageous if you also have a working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental policies with some technical knowledge. You will have a desire to succeed, a willingness to work and be customer focussed.

Key Responsibilities
Ensuring that operational sites run safely in accordance with Company policy, procedures, standards and legal compliance
Near misses/unsafe acts are recorded and resolved/Root cause analysis identified/Action closeout
Ensuring that all internal and external inspections/audits are carried out and any resulting actions are resolved in a timely manner
Carrying out monthly site inspections
Managing costs in line with your budget/manage monthly stock control across the district
Ensuring that regular preventative maintenance is carried out with timely closeout and management of defects identified
Developing a team and implement strategic training plans
