About the Role:



We are seeking a high-performing and digitally capable

Production Operations Manager & Systems Coordinator

to take ownership of project delivery across engineering contracts within our dynamic business. This is a senior operations role involving project planning, digital systems coordination, client interface, financial oversight, and compliance tracking.

You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably, while supporting the strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract & Project Management



Lead the full contract lifecycle from pre-award through to handover, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and compliance are met. Align contract deliverables with internal capacity, procurement, and production schedules.

Digital Systems & Performance Tracking



Implement and manage digital platforms for project tracking, hour utilisation, KPI monitoring, and reporting. Identify underperformance or risks early and deploy improvement actions.

Client & Commercial Management



Act as primary point of contact with clients and key stakeholders. Manage reporting, claims, change orders, and payment applications. Track project budgets and provide real-time financial visibility.

Operational Coordination



Liaise with internal planning, procurement, and fabrication teams to synchronise delivery against contract milestones. Monitor progress using planning systems and ensure labour and materials are aligned with current and upcoming works.

Compliance & HSE Ownership



Maintain responsibility for project compliance documentation including RAMS, COSHH, and toolbox talks. Ensure that systems of work and quality assurance processes are followed, recorded, and continually improved.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement



Provide structured monthly reporting to the senior management team, highlighting delivery metrics, cost performance, risks, and improvement actions. Lead the resolution of any recurring issues or inefficiencies across the delivery lifecycle.

Candidate Profile:



Minimum 5 years' experience in project, contract, or operational management in an engineering, construction, or fabrication environment Strong commercial acumen with experience managing cost, claims, and client expectations Skilled in digital tools (e.g. Excel, MS Project, ClickUp, SharePoint, ERP/MRP systems) Proven leadership and communication skills Able to read engineering drawings and understand scope detail Familiar with H&S, QA, and compliance documentation management Relevant qualifications (e.g. HND/Degree, IOSH/SSSTS/SMSTS) are advantageous

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
