About the Role

We are looking for a

hands-on Production Manager

to lead our busy warehouse and production operations. This is not a desk-only role -- you'll be on the shop floor, working closely with your team, overseeing production lines, and ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

You'll take ownership of day-to-day production activities, drive continuous improvement, and help us maintain high standards of quality and output.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse and production operations to meet targets and deadlines. Lead, motivate, and support a team of machine operators and warehouse staff. Oversee machine setup, operation, and maintenance -- stepping in where needed to keep production on track. Monitor workflow, quality, and safety standards, identifying and resolving issues promptly. Work closely with the logistics and purchasing teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production schedules. Track performance metrics and report on productivity, efficiency, and quality. Support process improvements to enhance output, reduce waste, and improve workplace safety. Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant production environment.

About You

Proven experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing management role. Strong, hands-on leadership style -- willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved. Good understanding of machinery operation, maintenance, and workflow management. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Confident communicator with the ability to motivate and lead a team. Flexible, proactive, and reliable under pressure.
