Production Office Coordinator - 18 month FTC (Mat Cover)



Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire - On site



Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (45-minute lunch break)



RCM, part of the Benx Group, are a major supplier of building boards and facade solutions. We now have an opportunity for an experienced Production Office Coordinator to join our team, for a fixed term, 18 month contract, covering maternity leave.

The role would suit someone with a background in Construction or similar. Previous experience completing quotations is essential.

Responsibilities will include;



Provide clerical and admin support to the Production Office Team

o Managing email correspondence across multiple inboxes

o Managing despatch orders

o Updating the Production Planner for new orders

o Updating the 52 week planner ensuring compliance

o Updating the Paint line planner

o Maintain paper and computerised records in line with current office procedures, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act

o Usage of Sage -

Amend operation task selected & booking in completed orders

Stock transfers

Generate Purchase Orders

Adhere to Company policies and procedures

Provide exemplary customer service skills at all times

Ensure all phone calls are answered within the Company '3 ring policy'

Managing effective communications to Site, visitors and other offices with the business

Maintain spreadsheets to a high quality

Carry out general clerical duties

Order Processing for Supertech orders

Customer delivery management for Supertech orders

Liaising with procurement for orders to be placed

Liaising with logistics to meet customer delivery dates

Non Conformance Champion

Experience and Knowledge Require



Administrative experience in an office based environment

Good organisational skills

Be IT literate in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) & Sage

Communication skills (telephone and interpersonal) working within a customer related environment

Able to work unsupervised within a multi-functioning department

Experience of the construction industry would be beneficial, although not essential

Able to build good relationships with clients, colleagues and external bodies

Excellent customer focus to internal customers and external

Willing to learn, initiate and develop efficient working systems within the Production unit

Willing to undertake and necessary training and development that will enhance personal/work performance

Able to work unsupervised within a multi-functional department environment

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise customer needs

Able to deal with difficult telephone calls and enquiries from customers
