- Day Shift - \xc2\xa312.34 / Hr.
- Night Shift - \xc2\xa316.45 / Hr.
- Overtime - \xc2\xa318.51 / Hr. (First ten hours).
- Overtime - \xc2\xa324.68 / Hr. (After ten hours overtime).
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Must be willing to work rotational shift pattern - 4 weeks on day shift and 4 weeks on night shift
Assembling, sub-assemblies, options and other components of generator sets. * Works from prints and standard work instructions to produce components of generator sets and similar large assemblies
- Works across various areas of the business, including, but not limited to, machine shop, paintline, nutsert and assembly
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
- Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action.
- Train other employees if and when required.
- Any other appropriate duties.
The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions as well as basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties described above. * Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns.
- Good communication skills, experience working in a team environment.
The ability to use hand tools, power tools, checking or testing equipment and to be able to read and interpret drawings. * Previous experience working in a lean environment.
- Previous mechanical experience.
- Experience working to takt times.
- Reasonable level of computer literacy where required.
