1Warehouse / Production Operative

We are a family run business based in Farringdon, Hampshire, who are artisans of beautifully British fragrance. We hand pour all our candles, reed diffusers and wax melts. Our candles are manufactured using only the highest quality fragrance. We aim to become the UK, s favourite brand for fine quality scented candles and home fragrance products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our busy team at our scented candle manufacturing factory, who will report to the Team Lead Manager. This is an exciting time to join TCCC as we are growing and expanding!

Previous experience in manufacturing or production would be an advantage. A team player that is proactive, reliable and has good work ethic is essential, along with a steady hand, good concentration, a keen eye for detail and quality control.

Role

You'll be involved in the day-to-day production of our products, working with Pouring & Labelling machinery and established processes, as well as picking & packing orders. The work is hands-on and includes tasks like pouring, labelling, packing, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Please be aware this is a factory environment, and the work requires being on your feet. In some areas we have fatigue matting, but this can't be used on the pouring lines. So comfortable footwear with a good sole is recommended.

Working on our manufacturing line Following clear production processes and quality checks Operating labelling machines Operating pouring machines Picking & packing orders General warehouse duties to support smooth operations

About you

Strong attention to detail Good understanding of English and able to retain operating instructions Can work under pressure and to hard deadlines Basic numeracy and literacy skills A dynamic and flexible attitude and can solve problems Values working within a team Willing an open to learning new things Previous experience of machine operating, or candle manufacturing would be an advantage Forklift license would be an advantage
Job Type: This role is full time across 3 days per week, with scope for additional hours on a flexible basis during busy periods. Hours 8.00am - 5.00pm with a 45 minute unpaid break. With an immediate start date.
