The Jaq. Group is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year. The post holder will operate machinery and ensure the smooth operation of the production process, identifying errors and quality standards.
Key Tasks:
Operate machinery to produce products in line with production targets whilst ensuring all targets are achieved
Ensure all products are labelled correctly and comply with standards
Assist in the collection of goods as and when required
Operate single and double pourer machines to put liquids into bottles/containers
Lid bottles once full, following training guidelines from management eg. Ensure there are no bubbles in the bottle before the lid goes on
Crimp spray bottles using the appropriate machinery
Assist in loading/offloading supplies where necessary
Stock shelves for orders to be picked and packed
Maintain the production unit through thorough cleaning and sanitation
Follow health and safety procedures when heavy lifting or operating machinery
Transport products from production building to despatch warehouse
Pick, pack and prepare orders for despatch
Ensure all goods ready for shipping are compliant with company quality standards
Undertake any other duties as required, that are within the competence of the post.
