As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for Machine Operatives to join our growing team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will share our passion and contribute positively to the ongoing success of the company.

Job Summary

As an important member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating thermoforming machines to manufacture high quality plastic punnets safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor thermoforming machines to manufacture plastic punnets in accordance with standard operating procedures. Set up and adjust machines for different production runs, ensuring high performance and minimum downtime. Work closely with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment. Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines as well as all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and stay updated with the latest operational practices. Ensure the machinery is operating effectively and report any faults or inconsistencies to the Team Leader and take corrective action as necessary. Conduct regular quality checks on the finished product to ensure they meet established specifications and customer standards. Maintaining accurate records of production quantities and times, equipment status, and issues encountered. Pack, palletise, wrap and label trays in the appropriate manner. Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Strive to meet or exceed production targets and efficiency goals set by the Production Manager.

Required to do shift rotations (Day and Night shifts)

Shifts : 7am -7pm // 7pm-7am

Night shift only hours available if rotation doesn't suit.
