Over 2500 scooters have been produced in this time. Not only have Beamer been manufacturing the Tramper but we have also been producing Special vehicles for bespoke applications including special purpose wheeled sprayers to six wheeled robotic winching robots.
Personnel Selection is seeking a Production and Assembly operative to work alongside an existing small friendly team. Working on intricate detailed projects where a keen eye for quality is paramount.
Responsibilities :
To work alongside our production team ,
Able to assemble all parts of the vehicle, from soldering electrical circuit boards to pressing bearings etc for our transmissions on our Tramper's.
Communicating on the telephone to customers/ suppliers when required.
Assembly parts in line with GA drawings and instructions,
To be able to work within a tight deadlines with minimal supervision,
Able to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision.
Follow standardized operating procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Using pneumatic, electric-powered tools, and a small number of hand tools,
Pack goods, materials ready for shipment,
Manually load lighter finished parts onto scooters in production
Perform electrical tests, wiring, and diagnostics per manuals.
Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and meet production targets and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or issues in the assembly process.
Reporting issues or test failures to supervisor to maintain high standard of quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
ABOUT YOU:
Skills to be considered:
Previously worked in a production / manufacturing role before.
MIG welding experience desirable
previous soldering experience desirable
Strong eyesight to include wearing spectacles if needed.
Use hand tools and inspection equipment - training given.
Happy to work with and assemble small intricate detailed items and parts.
Able to be self-motivated.
Work well within a team or under your own initiative.
Happy to work in a repetitive environment.
Numerate and literate.
Strong English language skills both written and verbal.
A hardworking and positive "Can Do" attitude.
Good sense of humour,
Previous experience in Mechanical assembly or manufacturing roles is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
