We're now looking for a dedicated

Production Operative

to support our manufacturing process and help maintain our high standards.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing semi-finished products and ensuring they meet quality standards. Conducting quality checks and testing products before dispatch. Linishing, assembling, and packing products for safe transportation. Loading delivery vehicles efficiently and checking deliveries upon arrival. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, reporting any hazards. Using manufacturing machinery after training. Effective stock control. Reading and following job cards. Supporting other production areas as needed.

The Candidate

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you will have:

Good communication skills and the ability to read work instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately. A flexible and proactive approach, able to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in dispatch or quality control. The ability to read technical drawings. A forklift licence.

The Offer

A competitive salary of 35,490 per year. A full-time position with a shift pattern of 07:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday. A supportive team environment with opportunities for growth. Comprehensive training to help you excel in your role.

The Hours:

Our business operates Monday to Friday, the office is open 08:00 to 18:00, the factory opens 07:00 to 18:00 with weekend work availability.
You'll also have a 30-minute daily unpaid lunch break, split into two 15-minute breaks, with the option to extend the 30-minutes to one hour.
