Job Description

Established since 2016, as part of the Prisma Group, Prisma Rubber Additives Ltd is a speciality Rubber Additives manufacturer located in New Mills , Derbyshire. We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated production operative to join our Team. The successful candidate(s) will responsible for operating machinery and manufacturing products to acceptable and defined quality standards. Full training will be provided. Please note that this is a demanding role, which requires attention to details and good housekeeping.

The role includes;

Lifting and manual work

Running and cleaning of various processes, including High Speed Mixers, Ribbon Blenders, and Paste Extruders.

Warehousing duties including storage of finished goods and supply of raw materials

Work within the organisation's Health and Safety guidelines to keep work area and equipment clean, safe and well maintained.

As a safety conscious employer we encourage good practice and adherence to procedures to ensure a safe working environment. The Candidate will have ideally will have worked within a manufacturing environment, have processing experience, capable of getting through a high volume of work, basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Please note, the successful candidate(s) will be required to wear full PPE working with Hazardous Chemicals

Working hours 40hrs / week:

6:00am - 14.30pm / 7:30am - 16:00pm (2 week rotation)

Forklift licence preferable / Own transport Essential

Based in New Mills, Birch Vale SK22 1AH
