Job Title Production Operator
Reporting To Operations Manager

Role Profile:

This role will report into the Production department. The Production Operator will assume numerous roles to support business needs. Training will be provided amongst the key areas as detailed below.

Hours:

Day Shift

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Friday 08:00 to 14:00 (No lunch break)

Late Shift

Monday to Thursday 16:30 to 01:00 (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Friday 14:00 to 20:00 (No lunch break)

Duties:

Bead blasting

Seal face polishing

Insert and helicoil fitment

Chemical cleaning (COSHH regulations in place)

Thermal Spraying

Orbital sanding

Packing and despatch procedures

Conducting basic testing and quality checks - highlighting any issues to Supervisors

Adhering to Health & Safety Regulations

General house keeping, and ensuring work areas are free from hazards

Working to the approved Production Plan

Completion of timesheets in a timely manner

Requirements:

Experience within a Production environment desirable Ability to effectively work in a team environment and on own initiative Ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organisation Willingness to learn new methods, processes and techniques Commitment to implementing business improvement initiatives Willingness to be flexible across different areas of the business Observant with the ability to follow instruction and ask if unsure Well organised Good timekeeping
