Production Operative (Cabinet Making)

We have several positions available for experienced, enthusiastic / positive minded individuals to join our manufacturing team at our premises in Spalding producing Kitchen & Bedroom Cabinets.

Working in a busy production environment, this is a great opportunity for a self motivated, and energetic individual, ideally with either cabinet making experience.

The ideal candidates will be a good timekeepers, have a positive can do attitude and enjoy working as part of a team and supporting overtime requirements as and when required too.

The role will include, but is not limited to, -

- Working with MFC board to produce cabinets, panels, and other required components to produce the cabinets. Mainly using hand tools in the cabinet manufacture.

- Working to a production schedule, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity in a busy fast paced environment

- To help colleagues within the team as and when required but to also work effectively alone.

- To maintain a high standard of workmanship without creating defects

- Ensure your work area is always clean and tidy and minimise ineffective/down time.

- Adherence to the Company's Health and Safety policies.

- Develop a culture of exceeding customer's expectations.

- Maintain a good morale amongst the team with good employee relations and clear communication.

- To undertake duties in other departments as requested.- To undertake any necessary training required in order to meet expectations of role when/if requested.

- Achieving daily output requirements to ensure customers orders are delivered on time

You must be a team player but also be able to carry out duties alone as required and with minimal supervision.

A successful candidate will possess an eye for detail and remain focused and conscientious even when under pressure.

A positive attitude and the ability to communicate politely and effectively is essential.

Working hours: 42.00 hours per week

Hours:

6am - 3.30pm Monday - Thursday

6am - 12pm Friday

Overtime Monday -Thursday 3.30-5.00pm if business requires

Pay will vary dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 25,500.00 per year
