We are looking for CVs with some prior experience and the ability to demonstrate your hands-on and practical ability in an industrial environment. What really matters here however, is having a strong work ethic, a genuine passion for teamwork, and taking pride in your work.
Duties and Responsibilities
To carry out various production activities, including but not limited to:
Machinery operation.
Use of hand tools for assembly.
Picking and wrapping of finished goods.
Assembly of components into finished goods.
Material movement/organisation.
Material preparation.
Material checking and inspection.
Jig cleaning/organising.
Loading and offloading material.
General housekeeping of production areas.
Use of light fabrication machinery.
PPC Wrapping Activities
PPC Pigeonholing
Materials handling.
Stock control.
Goods in/receiving.
Order packing.
Quality control activities.
External deliveries and collection, including driving.
General warehouse duties including the use of workshop equipment.
Person Specification
Experience of working in a production / manufacturing environment.
Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Good communication skills.
Inter-personal skills and an ability to work as part of a team and develop and maintain good working relationships.
Positive with a can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively and responsibly, exercising discretion when necessary, without close supervision.
Ability to work to deadlines and time constraints.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Commitment to high standards and delivering quality.
Willingness and to desire to understand and operate across other production areas.
