About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production line. Your dedication to health and safety, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to health and safety standards and Safe Systems of Work. Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment. Package and finalise products for shipment. Report any production issues to the Team Leader on duty. Monitor and ensure product quality, removing and reporting faulty items. Meet production targets and follow specified guidelines. Keep workstations and production areas clean. Continuously seek improvements in processes and productivity.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience in one or more of the following machines:

Flatbed Die Cutter - BOBST & YOUNG SHIN Guillotines - Prizm, Wohlenberg & Polar Cutting Press - Samco stand alone/Industrial Corner Cutting Machines - Single & Twin Reel Fed Sheet Convertor Shrink-wraps- L-sealer/Chamber Sealing/High speed continuous Sealers

Essential Skills:

Strong ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Basic mathematical skills and excellent attention to detail. Punctuality and a professional approach to work. Clear communication and the ability to collaborate respectfully with colleagues.

Working Patterns Available:

Early Shift: 0550-1350 Monday to Friday Back Shift: 1350-2230 Monday to Thursday 1350-1910 Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.38-13.15 per hour
