12.45 per hour / 24,933 per annum

38.5 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 7.15am to 4.00pm / Fri 7.15am to 12.45pm)

Sociable hours, no shift work

Job Summary

We are the UK's leading coupling, brake, axle and chassis manufacturer seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembling products using various hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our assembly processes.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Read and follow Work Instructions. Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for this role.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good work ethic, reliability and honest approach. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Good attendance and punctuality.
