Production Operative (Grade 1)Qualifications (Desirable)
Valid Forklift License
Skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Basic understanding of health & safety and quality control procedures
Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the brake/clutch lining industry)
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Assembling goods on a production line, including bonding brake pads Finishing products, including applying protective spray coatings Operating production line equipment (e.g., sawing equipment and other general manufacturing machinery) Monitoring the production process, carrying out basic testing, and performing quality checks Reporting equipment or product faults to management promptly Storing and retrieving goods and raw materials within the factory and warehouse Packing goods for shipment in crates or other containers Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools, and machinery Complying with quality management systems and health & safety procedures Performing any other reasonable duties as required by management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
