Job Description

Help us cut, bend and prepare reinforcement steel so orders leave on time and to spec.

The role

Receive, sort, bundle and prepare steel for storage/dispatch Support cutting/bending operations; work from straightforward drawings/measurements After training (a few months), operate cutting/bending machinery independently Check quality during and after production Pack, palletise, band/strap and shrink-wrap loads Keep work areas clean and safe; move materials by pallet truck (FLT/overhead crane if trained)

Hours & pay

Now until December 2025:

7:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours)

From January 2026:

fixed

2:00pm-12:00am

late shift, Monday to Friday

20% shift uplift

applies to hours worked on the late shift (from January)

Full-time, permanent (Mon-Fri, 40 hrs)
