Montgomery Waters is a leading independent manufacturer of bottled Mineral, Spring and flavoured waters.

All products are manufactured from our sites in rural Wales and Shropshire.

We are looking to recruit Production Operatives within the bottling operation at Montgomery Waters, Churchstoke, Powys.

Full Time, 6.00am-2.15pm / 2pm - 10.15pm - Rotating Shifts (39 hours per week).

We are building a team who are able to operate high speed packaging machinery and also optimise performance in terms of quality and efficiency.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the smooth operation of every production run. To work in various capacities specialising in a variety of machines (e.g. Fillers, Labellers, Packing Lines).

Duties:

Operate production machinery to manufacture bottled water products Maintain and monitor machine to ensure it functions properly Understanding of how operated machine functions Conduct periodical quality checks Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions or other varying needs of production Operating a forklift truck to carry raw materials and finished product from the line. Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping To work in line with Health & Safety regulations

The Idea candidate will:

Preferably have some experience in a manufacturing environment although training will be given. Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment Be a strong team player with keen eye for detail Observe and Maintain Health & Safety standards within the business Good time keeping and flexibility FLT License (Desirable)
Full training will be provided including forklift counterbalance training.

Our modern packaging machines are highly sophisticated and requires a good level of mechanical/electrical awareness and appreciation, computer literacy and the ability to assimilate information quickly.

We operate our latest high speed line in excess of 30,000 bottles per hour which means we need the right people to ensure efficient/effective running.

Pay: 13.73 per hour
