Montgomery Waters is a leading independent manufacturer of bottled Mineral, Spring and flavoured waters.

All products are manufactured from our sites in rural Wales and Shropshire.

We are looking to recruit Production Operatives within the bottling operation at Montgomery Waters, Church Stretton, Shropshire.

We are building a team who are able to operate high speed packaging machinery and also optimise performance in terms of quality and efficiency.

Days / Afternoon roating - Monday - Thursday - 39 hours per week

Night Shift - Monday-Thursday - 32 hours per week

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the smooth operation of production. To work in various capacities specialising in a variety of machines (e.g. Fillers, Labellers, Packing Lines), and also work within the warehouse ubnloading and loading finished goods and raw materials.

Duties:

Operate production machinery to manufacture bottled water products. Maintain and monitor machine to ensure it functions properly. Understanding of how operated machine functions. Conduct periodical quality checks. Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed. Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions or other varying needs of production. Loading and unloading vehicles. Stock rotation. Providing the production lines with raw materials Unloading the lines with finish products. Drive following all standard procedures. Carry out Daily FLT inspections before using your truck. Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping. To work in line with Health & Safety regulations.

The Idea candidate will:

Preferably have some experience in a manufacturing environment although training will be given. Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment. Be a strong team player with keen eye for detail. Observe and Maintain Health & Safety standards within the business. Good time keeping and flexibility. FLT License (Desirable).
Job Type: Temp to perm

Pay: 13.73-24.42 per hour
