Marshall Amplification is a well-established company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

An opening has arisen for a Production Operative within the Covering Department.

Working within a small team, the main role of a Production Operative within the Covering Department will be to cover wooden enclosures to a high standard and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work to strict deadlines and have experience of working in a production setting.

Covering Department

are outlined below:

Operating horizontal band saw Operating various ovens Operating carousel Operating air pressured spray guns Preparing and loading of wooden units onto the carousel Wrapping covering material around wooden units Use of hand tools to complete assembly tasks Covering of wooden units Covering of wooden backs and baffles Performing quality checks Collaborating with team members to meet production goals. Cleaning and maintaining of production equipment, including spray guns and hand tools. Cleaning and maintaining of production machinery. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to the Team Leader. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage though not essential as full training will be given.

The starting rate is 12.25 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases through our structured grading system.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.15pm with 30-minute lunch break, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm with no lunch break
