Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various production equipment.

Shift

4 x 12 hour shifts

06:30 - 18:30 Monday - Thursday

Willing to work nights if required 18:30 - 06:30

Responsibilities

Working as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment. Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance. Conduct tasks as per specifications and quality standards. Perform efficiently to prevent downtime. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment. Assist in warehouse operations, including stock take and material handling. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe workplace. Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and organised.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge. Strong attention to detail and precision. Previous experience in production work. Excellent timekeeping. Capable of manual labour. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Computer literate to an acceptable standard. Capable of working alone or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Required to stand in a stationary position while performing job duties. Required to climb stairs to elevated workstations as needed. Good hand/eye coordination needed to perform job duties. Must be able to lift and manage a weight of 25 kgs, as required. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift arms overhead while performing job duties.
