- Production Operative TWO SHIFT - Preform

SUMMARY

As part of a brake pad production team, you will be working closely with colleagues in various stages of production to manufacture brake pads, predominantly in the Preform section.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate various equipment and machinery to produce parts in accordance with the relevant drawings and specifications. Maximise daily output in-line with targets, producing parts to set priorities to ensure high customer service levels are achieved. Count and inspect items, as per the details shown on the works order. Perform physical stock movements (does involve some heavy lifting). Preparing items for collection/delivery. Complete paperwork showing daily production. Any other duties as issued by the Production Manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Previous production, manufacturing experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided; Ability to work independently in line with standard operating procedures and follow instructions; Experience in manual handling preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Working hours:

Rotating "Two shift" pattern

Monday-Thursday: Week 1 - 06:00-14:00 / Week 2 - 14:00-22:00; Friday: Week 1 - 06:00-13:00 / Week 2 - 13:00-20:00; (30 minute paid lunch break included); Total 39 hours per week.

Holiday Entitlement:

29 days including bank holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.52 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
