is a food factory and family-run business established 66 years ago in Shaftesbury Dorset. Recently we have joined First Milk group - a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative.

Every day we source 100,000 litres of milk from the local farms. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK.

To strengthen our production team we are looking for

Production Operative

who will work on the following shifts:

Day shift - Hours of work 06:00 - 18:00, on 4 days on/4 days off, shift basis. Yearly Salary - 27,583-33,808 per year

These exciting tasks are awaiting you:

To produce a high volume of good quality products such as yogurts, kefirs, mascarpone cheese, etc.
To follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full
To adhere to all technical requirements, operating procedure and health & safety policies
To assist in training other personnel to ensure that they work efficiently and safely as applicable
To contribute to improvements in production processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality
To work with the Production Management team by supporting the business in a flexible manner

Your experience so far:

Ideally experience in working in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety, for which you will be given in-house training
Food industry experience would be a plus
We expect you to be a good team player, have positive attitude and 'can do' approach
